Animals? I have a few: four dogs, three cats, two frogs and several fish. My career in veterinary medicine actually began when at the age of eight, I attempted to rescue a very sick little hamster.
The hamster survived! And my career took off from there.
I became a registered Vet Tech in the US Army and then eventually graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
My areas of focus are small animal medicine and surgery; exotics; and alternative medicine.
